Context

Training design gives the structure to the training programme after training objectives are identified. This course is a useful tool to consolidate the implementation of a training programme, whose aim is to create a team of up-to-date and proficient training course developers working in the domain of training course development.

Training items

  • Competency-based training and assessment methodology.
  • Preliminary analysis.
  • Task analysis.
  • Training needs analysis (TNA).
  • Definition of training curriculum.
  • Development of training modules.
  • Production of training course materials and tests.
  • Training effectiveness evaluation and follow up.

Training objectives

  • Ability to analyse training needs.
  • Ability to define training objectives and curricula.
  • Ability to design modules and tests.
  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness.

Administration

  • Duration: 4 days initial/2 days recurrent.
  • Deliverables: All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
