Context

European military airworthiness requirements (EMAR) M and CAMO outline the requirements for aviation military continuing airworthiness and continuing airworthiness management organisations (CAMO). This course is developed to provide attendees with a comprehensive description and thorough understanding of the purpose and structure of the EMAR M and CAMO frameworks, as well as their technical requirements. The course includes descriptive case studies and practical activities to support an immediate knowledge assimilation and proficiency in the subject matters.

• Philosophy of EMARs.
• The European Defence Agency and the Military Airworthiness Authorities forum.
• Purpose and structure of EMAR M and CAMO.
• EMAR M and CAMO: IRs, AMCs, and GMs.
• EMAR M and CAMO: relevant forms and appendices.
• Differences with EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO regulations.
• Interactions with EMAR 21 and EMAR 145.
• Privileges and obligations of an approval holder.
• Guidelines for effective implementation.
• Case studies and practical application exercises.

Training objectives

• Ability to apply EMAR M and CAMO within one’s organisation.
• Ability to facilitate and ensure compliance with EMAR M and CAMO.
• Confidence as to the alignment of current processes with EMAR M and CAMO requirements.
