Context

European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR) 21 outline the requirements for aviation military design and production organisations. This course is developed to provide attendees with a comprehensive description and thorough understanding of the purpose and structure of the EMAR 21 framework, as well as its technical requirements. The course includes descriptive case studies and practical activities to support an immediate knowledge assimilation and proficiency in the subject matters.

• The European Defence Agency and the Military Airworthiness Authorities forum.
• Purpose and structure of EMAR 21.

• EMAR 21: relevant forms and appendices.
• Differences with EASA Part 21 regulations.
• Interactions with EMAR 145, EMAR 66, and EMAR M-CAMO.
• Privileges and obligations of an approval holder.
• Guidelines for effective implementation.
• Case studies and practical application exercises

Training objectives

• Ability to apply EMAR 21 within one’s organisation.
• Ability to facilitate and ensure compliance with EMAR 21.
• Confidence as to the alignment of current processes with EMAR 21 requirements.

• Duration: 2 days initial/1 day recurrent.
• Deliverables: All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
