EASA aerodrome regulations (RTC03)

Context
The objective of this course is to provide aerodrome operators of EASA Member States clear guidance and understanding of the implementing rules (IR) and their annexes to ensure compliance with the European aviation safety regulations, while maintaining a high level of safety and reflecting best practices in the field of aerodromes.
With the inclusion of aerodrome operators within the scope of the basic regulation on aviation safety and the publication of EU regulation (EC) No 139/2014 on aerodromes, European airports are mandated to establish compliance with the European regulatory framework.

Training items

  • European aviation safety regulatory framework.
  • ICAO Annex 14 and PANS-AERODROMES.
  • ICAO Annex 19 and Doc. 9859.
  • EASA AERODROMES (including AMC, GM, and CS).

Training objectives

  • Clear understanding of the European aviation safety regulations framework.
  • Clear understanding of the EASA aerodrome regulations.
  • Awareness of responsibilities under the EASA regulations.
  • Application of the regulations.

Administration

  • Duration: 2 days initial/1 day recurrent.
  • Deliverables: All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

  • Aerodrome planners and strategic development managers and project managers.

Prerequisites

    No specific prior knowledge is required to attend this training.
