Context
The main objectives of aircraft maintenance include reducing the consequences of failure(s), extending the lives of aircraft system, and ensuring that systems are fit and safe to use. In order for this to happen, it is necessary that technical departments develop and effectively manage customised and compliant aircraft maintenance programmes.

- Details of aircraft maintenance programme regulatory requirements in EASA Part-M.
- Definitions of reliability and maintenance.
- Maintenance steering group (MSG1/2/3) analysis.
- Maintenance review board report analysis.
- Certification maintenance requirements analysis.
- Impact of airworthiness limitations.
- Maintenance planning document consideration.
- Impact of critical design configuration control limitations.
- Additional repetitive inspections: repairs, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and national requirements.
- Maintenance programme compliance verification with a practical example.
