Context
A safety management system (SMS) is an integrated system designed to focus organisations on managing safety risks. Once an SMS is effectively established, the next step is to build upon this foundation by optimising its performance, strengthening the organisational safety culture, and exploring the potential for integration with other management systems within the organisation.
This course is designed for personnel who already have a working knowledge of SMS. It focusses on assessing, refining, and advancing an existing SMS towards a mature, high-performance state, with particular emphasis on safety culture, leadership, and the integration of safety management within the broader organisational context.
