Context

Amendments to Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 introduced safety management system (SMS) requirements for EASA Part-145 approved maintenance organisation. SMS is an integrated system designed to focus organisations on managing safety risks. SMS is designed to achieve improvements in safety performance through organisational learning.
