Context
With the adoption of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/20, EASA has introduced for the first time a harmonised regulatory framework for ground handling services across EASA Member States. This regulation establishes mandatory requirements for ground handling service providers (GHSP), self-handling air operators, and aerodrome operators, covering safety management systems, training, compliance, oversight, and organisational accountability.
The regulation has entered into force in 2025, with a three-year transition period before full applicability in 2028. This course is designed to help stakeholders understand and prepare for the implementation of these new requirements in a structured, compliant, and efficient manner.
